Return & Refund Policy

At Treasure Chest Games, most of the products we sell are collectible, limited, pre-owned, vintage, or otherwise sensitive to changes in condition after purchase. Because of the nature of these products, all sales are final unless otherwise stated on the product listing.

Items marked Final Sale cannot be returned or exchanged due to a change of mind, purchasing the wrong item, buyer's remorse, changes in market value, or because the customer no longer wants the item.

Trading Cards & Collectibles

All trading cards, sealed trading card products, collectible card game products, and other collectibles are final sale.

We do not accept returns or exchanges on these items once purchased. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Individual trading cards

• Booster packs, booster boxes, bundles, decks, and other sealed products

• Graded cards

• Collectibles and limited-release products

• Products that have been opened or had their original packaging or seals altered

The condition of individual cards is listed at the time of sale. Because condition can be subjective, customers purchasing in store are encouraged to inspect higher-value cards before completing their purchase.

Retro Video Games, Consoles & Electronics

Our pre-owned video games, consoles, controllers, and other electronic items are tested in-house before being offered for sale.

All pre-owned video games, consoles, controllers, and electronics are sold as-is, are final sale, and do not include any warranty unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

Many of these products are decades old. While we test them for functionality before sale, we cannot guarantee how long vintage or pre-owned hardware, games, batteries, disc drives, cartridge connectors, controllers, cables, or other components will continue to function after purchase.

Customers purchasing or picking up these items in store are welcome and encouraged to ask a staff member to demonstrate that the item is functioning before completing the purchase or leaving the store.

Because these items are pre-owned, cosmetic condition may vary. Normal signs of age, previous use, wear, discoloration, scratches, label wear, or other age-related characteristics are not considered defects unless the item's condition was materially misrepresented at the time of sale.

If an item was not functioning as represented at the time of sale, or if you received an incorrect or materially misdescribed item, please contact us promptly so we can review the issue.

A product that was functioning when sold but later stops working due to age, wear, deterioration, misuse, accidental damage, compatibility issues, or component failure is not eligible for a return, exchange, or refund.

Treasure Chest Games does not provide an ongoing warranty or guarantee of future functionality on vintage or pre-owned video games, consoles, controllers, or electronics unless a specific written warranty is included with the item.

Defective, Damaged, Incorrect, or Misdescribed Items

Our final-sale policy does not prevent you from contacting us if there was a genuine problem with your order at the time it was sold or received.

Please contact us promptly if you receive:

• An incorrect item

• An item that was materially different from its description

• An item damaged during shipment

• A video game, console, controller, or electronic item that was not functioning as represented at the time it was sold or received

Depending on the circumstances and product availability, we may offer a replacement, store credit, refund, or another appropriate resolution.

For vintage and pre-owned electronics, this provision applies to issues that were present at the time of sale or delivery. It does not create a warranty or guarantee against future failure after the item has been purchased and was functioning as represented.

Please do not ship an item back to us without contacting us first. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

Shipping Damage

If an order arrives damaged, please retain the item and all original shipping materials and contact us promptly.

Photographs of the product, shipping box or envelope, packaging materials, and shipping label may be required so that we can evaluate the damage and, when applicable, submit a claim with the shipping carrier.

Damage to external packaging that does not affect the product itself may not qualify as product damage.

Order Cancellations

Orders that have not yet been processed or shipped may be eligible for cancellation at our discretion.

Once an order has been processed, packed, shipped, or prepared for pickup, we may be unable to cancel it.

Orders containing products subject to market-price fluctuations, limited-release products, event registrations, preorders, or other specially designated Final Sale products may not be cancellable after purchase.

Preorders & Special Orders

Unless otherwise stated, preorders and specially ordered products are final sale.

Release dates are determined by publishers, manufacturers, and distributors and may change. A change to an anticipated release date does not automatically qualify an order for cancellation or refund.

In-Store Pickup

Customers picking up purchases in store are encouraged to inspect their order before leaving.

For consoles, video games, controllers, electronics, or other tested products, customers may request a demonstration of functionality before leaving the store.

Once an order has been inspected and accepted at pickup, our normal final-sale policy applies.

Exceptions

Any exception to this policy is made at the discretion of Treasure Chest Games unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

Questions or Problems With an Order

If something was incorrect, damaged in transit, materially misdescribed, or not functioning as represented when you received it, please contact Treasure Chest Games so we can review the issue.

When contacting us, please include your order number, the item involved, a description of the issue, and photographs when applicable.
